"You can buy the most expensive and best performing window in the world, if it is not installed properly you have completely wasted your time and money". I used quotes because over the years I have heard most window experts use most of the quoted words. Everyone agrees that windows are hard to install and they will fail if they are not installed properly.

In this thread we will discuss why windows fail if they are not installed properly and how to troubleshoot your installation problems. If you are having a problem with your windows just post your question!

Did you know that most window manufactures will not honor your warranty if your window was not installed properly?

Did you get this fixed? Was it a result of tightness at the jambs or a balance issue?
