|

I'm looking for replacement windows and I'm wondering if I should actually measure the windows myself or will the companies measure the windows for me? This will be my first replacement windows, so I'm not sure yet how the process goes.
Thanks! |

| Windows are pretty expensive, especially when you have a lot of them. Normally the company will come to your site and give you an estimate along with all the measurements. Then for some reason if they don't fit, you won't be at fault. |

The safest way is to let the company who you are purchasing the windows from do the measurements. If your off by just a little, they will not fit.

Have the company measure and be responsible for the proper measurements. |

| I definitely recommend professional measurement, which is automatic if they are installing. If DIY, I still recommend professional measurement, however there may be extra charges associated with that service. |
