This is great because I was just wondering what the difference was,

When I decided to get new windows I never knew there was so many things to consider when buying until I started searching the web and then I found this forum and it opened my mind to all types of questions.

Can you give me some quick examples or maybe a short little "min guide" to double pains..

Thanks! Cool

Double pane windows are basically windows with two panes of glass. Between the two layers of glass you can have air or Argon gas. Since the area between the two panes is sealed it insulates the window. The most important factor when judging a double pane window sash is the spacers that separate the glass panes. Metal spacers are bad.........the draw the cold from the outside pane of glass and make your inside pane cold.

well i f you wanna choose this dual pane windows other factor u would consider is the U-factor.

Choose with lower U-Factor ratings, they perform better. well it really tell you how well the windows insulates by this U-Factor thingy.
