We got a price today of just under $500 for a new window for our kitchen and I'm wondering if any of you think that is a decent price before we move forward. We haven't got anymore estimates yet, but will if you think we can get that a little cheaper.

Ouch, I hope it doesn't cost me that much to replace a couple of windows in my building. That's probably not to bad of a price for a good window. I'm just needing something very cheap Smile

That seems about right to me. Normally windows can cost a lot more so I say you are getting a way with a pretty good deal depending on the type of window.

For two windows that is reasonable. What brand are they? Do they come with Low-e/ argon or Low-e2?

That sounds like a very fair price to me. How large is your kitchen window? Remember you will save more money in the long run if you purchase better windows now Smile

That's almost what I paid for our replacement windows. I say go ahead and get them.
