Am I capable of installing my own windows?

It doesn't need to be a perfect installation since it is for the building out back which isn't in to good of shape at the moment. I'm wondering how hard would it be to install a cheap set of windows just to replace the broken ones? Would I actually save that much $$$?

Just let the professionals handle the installation. For someone that has never done an installation like that it could take up a lot of your time and you still may not be able to get it perfect.

Yeah I know what you mean. Since I'm just concerned about stuff getting in, I might just board them up since it'll be a little cheaper. At least until I can get the extra cash to replace them.

That's definitely a cheaper option. If it is just an old building, I don't see what you would have to put new windows in.

Replacing the actual windows is not the necessarily difficult part of the project.

The exterior trim and other finish work is where most of the skill and difficulty is.

Once I tried to replace a window, but I fell off the ladder and hit my head on the concrete. I've had crossed eyes ever since.
