We just replaced all new windows in our home and are considering replacing a couple more in our building out back to make our home more energy efficient. My question is that if I insulate our garage that is connected to our house, will it keep our home warmer in the winter?

It shouldn't make a huge difference by insulating your garage unless you are going to heat it. I would just save your $$$ and spend it on something that may save you more money like energy efficient appliances.

We never install insulation in a garage unless the home owner plans on heating it someday. We usually charge around $1000 to add insulation to a double car garage.

We got our garage insulated. That's only because we plan to heat it in the future. I can't really tell if it is going to stay warmer or not yet because the builders don't have the garage door on just yet.
