A few of my windows are a little drafty, but they aren't really to bad. Are their any other signs that my windows really need replacing?

Thanks!

Drafty windows are one sign, but their are a few others such as:

Rotting wood frames
excessive amounts of condensation
fading of furniture and draperies
ETC

Let me know if you have any of those!

We don't any rotting wood frames or fading furniture, but we do have a lot of condensation in most of our windows.

I honestly think they need replaced if your getting a lot of condensation in them. I would contact a company to come give you a free quote on replacements. Then ask them if they are bad enough to get replaced.

I would get them replaced no doubt about it. It will save on your heating/cooling bills. So in the long run they will end up paying for themselves!

I am getting mine replaced in about two weeks. The price wasn't to bad and I'm sure it'll make our home look much nicer. You should really consider doing something like that Smile

Well I just got an estimate and I feel that the windows are within our price range. We haven't actually selected the exact windows that we would like, but we have a few ideas in mind. I will let you know as soon as I decide Smile

I'm really glad to hear that you are making progress on it. Do feel free to let us know what you chose and how they look after you get them installed.

That's great news! By just reading this thread, it sounds to me that you would need those windows replaced sometime soon.
