I'm just wondering what everyone likes/dislikes about the Vista OS. I purchased my PC last year with XP, but I would like to upgrade to Vista sometime this year if possible. Do any of you have any good/bad experiences with it?

Thanks!
Richard

I really enjoy windows vista. Some people don't have the PC power to handle the operating system. Which is why you hear so many complaints about it. I personally think it looks a lot more professional that XP. Smile

That's what I've been hearing. I guess what scares me so much is all the negative feedback regarding the Vista operating system. Plus it isn't a cheap program that you could just downgrade if you wanted to.

I really enjoy my Vista operating system so far. The only problem I am having with it is getting my 5 year old printer to work. That's nothing to big, we need a new one anyhow.

I haven't experimented with it just yet, but I have seen a few videos/screen shots of it. It's something that I would really like to try out, but I wouldn't feel comfortable upgrading my XP machine.

Windows Vista runs great in my laptop. I've only been working with it for a few months now, so I don't have to much experience.

I have a problem with Vista that I can't get a few icons off my desktop. Even after I restart I'll try to delete them and they keep saying another program is using them. They are just 2 empty folders. Other than that it runs great!
