All of our windows in our home have metal frames. A couple are cracked so we now need to upgrade. Should I upgrade just the 2 that really need replaced to wood or should I scrap all the metal framed windows and go with wood? What would be best in the long run?
Thanks! |

Trust me when I say this... upgrade all of your windows. I know for a fact that your heating bill will be less in the winter b/c you won't have metal frames |

| If you have the extra cash laying around I would take not chances and just get them all replaced. How long have these windows been installed in your home? |

Thanks everyone! We have actually decided to get all of our windows replaced since the frames are junk. I'll let you all know how this project turns out |

They have been installed since we purchased the home about 5-6 years ago. I think the house is around 30-35 years old though. |
