We've had our windows for around 5-6 years now. They work great, but the kitchen window somehow got busted. I'm wondering how much would it cost to get that single window replaced.
Thanks! |

| $400-$4000 Depending on the size of the window and your options the price range is rather large. For example if the window is a small double hung window and you buy a cheap window it could run you $400. If the window is a double casement it could run you $1200-$2000. If the window is a garden window with fancy glass it could cost you around $4000. |

Wow A few hundred isn't that bad, but let's hope it doesn't cost a couple thousand for a single window! |

| My advice would be just to shop around to see what kind of a deal you can get and go from there. We got a few estimates from a few different companies a couple days ago. We finally decided which company we are going with. We didn't pick the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. |

I agree... don't get the most expensive (unless you can afford it), but don't necessarily get the cheapest (you may pay for it in the long run). Get one that really best suits your needs. |

| I just wanted to let you all know that we did get a few estimates today. We are going with a cheaper window. With tax and everything we're looking at just under $500 which fits nicely into our budget. |

First how long are you going to live there? If you are going to stay awhile I would purchase a mid level product to a high end product. 450 - 700 is a good range. I would get 3 estimates. 1 large company, 2 med. sized companies. Maybe see if it can be repaired.
Good Luck. |
