I haven't had a chance to talk to my contractor yet, but I just got back from my house and a few of my basement windows are cracked. It looks like the house must have shifted yet. Do you think the contractor is going to replace at no charge?

Thanks!

The builder should replace these at no cost since you haven't lived there yet and it isn't an act of vandalism. I hope all works out for you!

I would talk to the builder just to see if you can get him to replace it. Whether he does or not is up to him.

Have you ever heard back from him yet? I would be a bit concerned if I where you and I haven't heard back yet. Hopefully all is well.

Yep he did say that he was going to take care of the problem so I can sleep at night now lol. He's really a great guy to work with.

I hope it doesn't either... he did explain that the house will shift a little from time to time causing stuff like that to happen. Almost everything has a warranty on it though which is very nice.
