We might need new windows in our home sometime this year. So we are exploring all options. I've never heard of metal frames. People have been telling me to go with either wood of vinyl. You normally don't use them in cold climates because they transfer cold a lot easier than wood & vinyl. We're looking to upgrade to either wood of vinyl. Our metal ones are keeping the house to cold in the winter months.
