We need 5 new replacement windows. 1 of those are broken while the other 4 just need replaced. I was curious to see if there is a temporary fix so that I won't have to fix them until at least winter.

Thanks!

Winter is almost over, so that might spare you some time until you have to replace them. I wouldn't spend the money fixing them. Especially if you plan to replace them sometime this year.

I would say just wait until spring or the end of summer to get them replaced. Unless they are so bad that water actually gets in. If that is the case, I would get them replaced ASAP.

Now that I think about it, I might just go ahead and get them replaced this spring so they are out of the way. Otherwise it'll be on my mind everyday until I get them taken care of.

I think that would be your best option. I'm a lot like you. If I waited, that's all I would think about until I got the problem fixed.

There is really no "Temp" fix. I've tried a few things and it just seems to make it even worse. I would just replace them and be done if I were you.

We've decided not to play around with these windows and just get them replaced. They are coming out next Wednesday to install them all Smile
