We are giving our entire house a make over this spring with all new windows and doors. We really like the half circle that they put into the top of the front door. We are a bit concerned that we might loose a lot of energy if that is only a single pane glass. Would anyone know if they are single or double pane?

You should be fine and you shouldn't loose to much energy. The glass is so small that it shouldn't make a difference if it were a single pane or double pane.

After thinking about it for a while, we decided not to get the glass in the door. Just because it is a little more expensive. Not only that, it means less privacy for us.

The glass is double pane, this is something we got when they built our new home, it's a very nice option and I do get a lot of complements for it.

That's to bad, I think you would have really enjoyed it. However, if the cost of the extra glass isn't in your budget, I think you made the right choice.

i would suggest Impact glass windows which will help from strong winds and stroms if you ever face them it may shatter but doesn’t get broken even in high wind speed.
