I would to try to get our heating bill down a little. I was going to close off the rooms that we don't really use in the house. However, I also heard through a friend that if I close them off completely that mold will start to form with no air circulating. Will I have any problems if I close the doors to those rooms?

I wouldn't close the off completely, just partially. By that I mean turning off the heat/ac in the room and just leaving the door cracked about 2-3". That will keep air circulating so you shouldn't have any problems. I'm not sure what would happen if you close them off completely. Smile

I have a few extra rooms in my house and this is what I always try to do. No need to heat rooms if you don't have any use for them Smile

We didn't notice any dramatic increase in savings, but we did notice a little. The way I see it if your not using the rooms, why pay to heat them?
