Hi everyone my name is Mike and Im new to the forum, and Im not sure if I posted this in the right section or not so excuse me if I didnt. Well I bought 4 American Craftsman Windows, an Andersen Company 300 Hopper 32 In. x 19 In. White 7/8 In. LoE Insulated Glass with Screen.
I installed them in my new garage addition in late october, and within a couple of days I noticed that the screens where buldging out at the bottom. So I took one out thinking that I installed them wrong and brought it in the house. The next morning the screen was sitting in the window frame nice and flat.So I took it outside to reinstall it and just from the weather change the screen started buldging out again before I even started to put it back in.It was outside for about 20 minutes.I put it back in anyways and was going to live with it cause it was just the screen. Now I was looking at the windows today and the Vinyl is all bowed out that goes around the window itself. Does anyone know why they are doing this and should I just try and return them to the Home Depot and get different windows?
Any help here would really be great because im lost?

Thanks Mike

Mike, while the windows that Home Depot and Lowes sell have an attractive price tag, they are very low in quality compared to the other windows on the market. Over the past several years I have replaced several American Craftsman's windows when the frames sagged or warped.

I would suggest giving them a call and asking about their return policy.

I hate to say it but we replace American Craftsman windows all the time with new Season Smart windows. AC windows just don't last. When the price is low, something has to give. Usually it's quality.
