Question
I am trying to decide on what style of window to choose. I will be replacing 2 windows in the living room 22 x 62 and 1 window in 2 upstairs bedrooms 36 x37. All in the front of the house.
For the living room I want windows with the least obstructed view. I was originally thinking about single sliders so the top 2/3 or 1/2 will be a clear view (no screen). I think casement would look better from the outside but am worried about seeing the screen from the inside. Should the upstairs and downstairs have the same style of window for curb appeal. 1 company said yes another said it doesn't matter. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are only spares so do not require the most expensive window. Again for curb appeal, if I got the casements for the downstairs and sliders upstairs all would have a verticle line. Sorry, I know I am ramblilng because I keep going back and forth between casements, single hung and sliders. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I would suggest having your windows match up on both floors. Having the screens on the inside of casement windows is something you will get use to--it's no big deal!
