I am going to have to replace one of the windows in my house. Do I measure just the glass, or do you include the metal around the glass (I think it is called the frame) as well?

You best bet is to hire a replacement window company to measure the window. If you just want to replace a sash, look for a logo from whoever made the window and contact them about how to measure for a replacement. Some newer windows will have stickers on the side of the sashes that tell you the size. |
